John Milkovich

Research Student at Techna

John Milkovich is an accomplished undergraduate teaching assistant at McMaster University, facilitating virtual labs and tutorials in Anatomy & Physiology and Cellular & Molecular Biology. In addition to academic responsibilities, John serves as Co-President of the McMaster CAPE organization, effectively leading initiatives to mentor at-risk youth and enhance educational access in Hamilton. John's research experience includes conducting 3D computational image analysis at the Techna Institute and leading projects with Medical Makers focused on developing affordable medical solutions for underserved communities. Previous roles at Cancer Care Ontario, Global Pathways School, and Mayfield Athletic Association demonstrate a strong commitment to health policy, community health, and leadership in sports advocacy. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Engineering dual degree at the University of Toronto, John has a solid foundation in health sciences, engineering, and entrepreneurship, complemented by participation in the SHAD Fellowship program.
