Spencer Gable - Cook

Spencer Gable-Cook is a Research Associate at Techna Institute since January 2023, with prior experience as a Robotics Student Researcher at the University of Michigan College of Engineering from January to August 2022, where contributions included developing a software GUI for calibrating neural prosthetic hands and training a Linear Discriminant Analysis model for hand pose classification. Spencer also worked as a Software Developer Intern at NewPath Consulting from May to September 2021, creating a highly-rated WordPress plugin, and as a Software Developer Summer Intern at Riff Official in 2020, enhancing the front-end of the company’s website. Spencer holds a Master of Science in Robotics Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Mechatronic Systems Engineering from Western University.
