Shashank Dharanibalan is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Quantum Science and Technology at UCLA. They previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, developing programs to analyze proton rays interacting with dark matter candidates. Shashank is now a Quantum Communications Research Engineer at Technergetics, maintaining quantum ion trapping systems, and has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at UCLA, where they designed laser pulsing systems for advanced research. Additionally, they interned at the Air Force Research Laboratory in 2024.
