Chen Cao serves as the Global Hydrogen Market Manager at Technetics Group since July 2025. Prior experience includes the role of Global Industry Manager Energy at ZwickRoell from September 2021 to June 2025, and post-doctoral research at Forschungszentrum Jülich focusing on field assisted sintering of novel current collectors for PEM electrolysis from February 2017 to November 2020. Chen holds a Doctorate in Material Science and Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, where earlier academic achievements include a Master of Science in Metallurgical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from University of Science and Technology Beijing. Additional experience encompasses internships at Bosch and Daimler AG, as well as student assistant positions at RWTH Aachen University, engaging in mechanical and thermal simulation, data analysis, and tribological experiments.
