Hernan Benavides

Hernan Benavides has extensive work experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Hernan started their career at VTR in 1994, where they held various engineering management roles until 2014. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the VP of Engineering at Liberty Latin America and Caribbean Group (LiLAC). Following that, they joined Liberty Latin America as the Senior Director of Connectivity & Entertainment Technologies from 2018 to 2023. After their tenure at Liberty Latin America, they worked at Claro-VTR as a Senior Technology Consultant from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of CTO Latam at Technetix since 2023.

Hernan Benavides obtained an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria from 1986 to 1992. Hernan later pursued studies in IP Networking at UCLA starting from 2000, with the end year not specified.
