John Ramirez

John Ramirez is a seasoned leader in deep tech ventures, focusing on bridging industry and academia to accelerate the commercialization of frontier science and technology across the Midwest. With nearly two decades of experience, John has facilitated over $100M in investments and has held leadership roles in successful companies, including Chief Product Officer at P33 Chicago and Deputy Director at World Business Chicago. Currently, they serve as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Discovery Partners Institute and as an advisor for THE ALPHA 1 COLLABORATIVE while consulting for various organizations. John possesses an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth and both a BS and MS in engineering from the University of Illinois and Illinois Institute of Technology, respectively.
