Christopher Thaiss

Director of Engineering, Georgia at Technical Data Analysis

Mr. Chris Thaiss has over 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry, primarily developing static and dynamic loads models of fixed and rotary wing aircraft using both physics based and empirical methods. In addition, Mr. Thaiss has worked closely with engineering organizations within the Department of Defense developing aircraft flight test procedures and instrumentation to facilitate data collection for aircraft certification.

Prior to joining TDA in 2008, Mr. Thaiss worked for Lockheed-Martin Aeronautics in Marietta, GA developing C-5M Galaxy flight control systems and performing aircraft stability and control analyses as well as providing on-board flight test support as a flight test analyst. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech.
