Rijesh Thottyan

Rijesh Thottyan is an experienced Embedded Engineer currently working at Technical Software Engineering Plazotta GmbH since October 2020. Previously, Rijesh contributed to Siemens Energy through a Master Thesis Project focused on implementing Model Predictive Control (MPC) on Raspberry Pi for the Siemens DCS SPPA-T3000, alongside a Research and Development Internship where data-loggers for ultra-light aircraft testing were developed. Early career experience includes working as an Electrical Engineer at MRF, where Rijesh was involved in PLC programming, commissioning tire curing machines, and maintaining automation systems. Rijesh holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Government Engineering College, Thrissur. Technical skills encompass programming in Python and C++, proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, and expertise in various automation tools and protocols.
