John Town

John Town has extensive experience in technology and management, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice-President of Technology and Quality at Conectiv Supply Chain Solutions since March 1987. In parallel, John holds the position of Senior Vice-President of Research & Development at Technicolor Home Entertainment Services. Furthermore, John has been a Board Member for both the Blu-ray Disc Association and the DVD Format & Logo Licensing Corporation since 2014 and 2018, respectively. Earlier in John’s career, a role in the GroupCo Graduate Management Program at BICC, PLC (UK) was undertaken from September 1983 to March 1987. John holds an M.Eng. in Microelectronic Systems from the University of Liverpool and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds. Educational background includes attendance at RGS Worcester from 1973 to 1980.
