John Tucker

John Tucker is a seasoned electrical engineer and hardware architect with extensive experience in the design and development of advanced technologies. Currently serving as Principal Electrical Engineer and HW Architect at Vantiva, John has also held the position of Principal Electrical Engineer at Technicolor since November 2015, where responsibilities include architecting DOCSIS Cable Gateways. Previous roles include Technical Leader for Settop Hardware/Architecture at Cisco Systems and Engineering Manager at Scientific Atlanta, where John managed teams and led projects focused on DVR Cable Set-top boxes and related technologies. John began the career as a Photo Lab Manager before transitioning into engineering, culminating in a degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University.
