Jon Knight has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Jon began their career as a Case Manager at Madison Center, Inc. in 2009 and worked there until 2010. Jon then joined MonoSol, Kuraray WS Film Division in 2010 and held multiple positions such as Research and Development Technician, Research and Development Chemist, New Ventures Chemist - New Ventures Technology Group Leader, and Manager - Strategic Innovation and Growth - Technology. In 2021, they joined Newlight Technologies, Inc. as an Associate Director of Product Development and stayed there until 2023. Currently, Jon is working as the Director of Technology at Technicote, Inc. starting from April 2023.

Following this, they pursued further education at Indiana University Northwest from 2011 to 2014 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry. Finally, from 2014 to 2018, they attended DePaul University and completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Polymers and Coatings Technology.
