Assaf Klar

Assaf Klar is a Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they focus on soil mechanics and research pertaining to geotechnical engineering, earthquake engineering, and tunneling effects on existing structures. Previously, Assaf served as an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at the same institution, and held a position as a Professor of Geotechnical Engineering and Soil Mechanics at DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Assaf completed their PhD in Geotechnical Engineering at Technion in 2003 and holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, also from Technion.
