Claude Schochet

Claude Schochet is a visiting professor at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they are currently giving a series of lectures on K-theory. Previously, Claude taught a graduate course on the Atiyah-Singer index theorem at Technion and held the position of professor of mathematics at Wayne State University from 1976 to 1991, focusing on functional analysis and algebraic topology. Claude earned a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Chicago, where they also obtained a Master of Science. Additionally, Claude served as Associate Dean for budget, planning, and personnel during their time at Wayne State University.
