Dan Vilenski is an accomplished entrepreneur and former Chairman of Applied Materials Israel, a position held from 1997 to 2006 after beginning as Corporate Vice President. They directed the successful integration of three significant American subsidiaries in the Israeli semiconductor capital equipment industry. From 1993 to 1996, Dan served as Managing Director of the Israel-US joint BIRD Foundation, fostering innovative collaborations between Israeli and US high-tech firms. They hold a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and remain active on several boards, including the Technion's Board of Governors and the Israeli National Nanotechnology Initiative.
