Ido Roll

Ido Roll is a Professor of Education and Data Science, currently serving as a Senior Research Director at ETS and an Associate Professor at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Their research focuses on the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills in learners through Interactive Learning Environments, utilizing methodologies from learning analytics, cognitive science, and data science. Ido has previously held roles as a Research Associate and Senior Manager at the University of British Columbia, and has been a member of the OECD PISA Learning in the Digital World expert group. They earned a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University.
