Janos Makowsky

Janos Makowsky is a Professor at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they have been engaged in research in the Logical Foundations of Computer Science since 1980. They have held several visiting professorships, including at Charles University Prague and the University of Florence in 2014 and 1975, respectively. Janos also served as a Visiting Research Fellow at Simon Fraser University and a Visiting Assistant Professor at Stanford University during the 1970s. They completed their Doctor of Mathematical Sciences at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1967 to 1973.
