Moti Freiman

Moti Freiman is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and serves as a Principal Engineer at Asensus Surgical, focusing on R&D for surgical robotics systems. They have previously held positions as an Adjunct Lecturer at IDC Herzliya and Tel Aviv University, and as an Instructor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School. Moti's research includes medical imaging algorithms, quantitative imaging, and machine learning, with contributions made during their tenure as a Staff Research Scientist at Philips. They earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and have been recognized for excellence in teaching.
