Omer Gottlieb

Omer Gottlieb is a Deep Learning Researcher at the Shechtman Nano Bio Optics lab of Technion - Israel Institute of Technology since January 2025. Prior to this role, Omer worked as an Algorithm Developer at Autobrains Technologies from August 2021 to October 2024, focusing on deep learning algorithms for auto labeling systems and anomaly detection algorithms for ADAS functions. Omer also served as a Product Engineer at Autobrains Technologies, developing ADAS and semi-autonomous functionalities in collaboration with engineers and creating evaluation tools for data analysis. Earlier experience includes an internship as a SQA intern at PixCell Medical Technologies Ltd., involving the development of automation and analysis tools in Python, along with system analysis of the HemoScreen blood analyzer. Omer holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, expected in 2026, and a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Technion, completed in February 2021.
