Rakefet Ackerman

Rakefet Ackerman is a cognitive psychology professor whose research focuses on meta-reasoning and the metacognitive aspects of reasoning, problem-solving, and decision making. They currently lead the Behavioral and Management Sciences area in the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technion and have served as an associate professor since 2009. With extensive experience in the software industry, including roles as a Project Development Manager at Check Point Software Technologies and as a team leader at Ness Digital Engineering, Rakefet integrates insights from both fields into their work. They earned a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Haifa and hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University.
