Uzzi Ornan is currently a counsellor at the computational laboratory MILA at Technion, where they produce and assist in building applications for parsing and transforming words. They have also served as a visiting professor at Technion since 1987, focusing on teaching computational linguistics, particularly regarding Hebrew. Uzzi earned a BA and PhD in Semitic linguistics and Biblical studies from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 1959 and 1965.
