Champak Panchal has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Champak worked as a Senior Principal Engineer at Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants starting in 2001. Prior to that, they were at Technip USA, Inc. where they held the roles of Senior Principal Engineer - Piping Stress Engineer and Piping Engineering. Champak was the Lead Pipe Stress Engineer on various projects including onshore refinery and chemical plants, nuclear power projects, and offshore oil and gas projects. Champak Panchal is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, USA; Ontario, Canada; Alberta, Canada; and British Columbia, Canada.

Champak Panchal completed their Honours B.Sc. degree in Aeronautical Engineering with a specialization in Stress Analysis from City, University of London. Champak obtained this degree from 1964 to 1968.
