David Whyte

David Whyte has extensive experience in the mechanical and offshore engineering sectors, currently serving as a Mechanical Pipelay Technician at Technip since May 2006, with a focus on maintenance and operation of subsea plough equipment and pipe laying equipment, including Carousels, Tensioners, and various Cranes. Prior to this role, David worked for Score Group plc from December 1996 to March 2006 as a Valve Technician, completing a recognized 6-year Mechanical Apprenticeship and working offshore on various installations. David holds an HNC in Mechanical Engineering from North East Scotland College and completed education at Mintlaw Academy.
