Michael Hargate

Michael Hargate is an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a robust background in project management consultancy within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving at Technip since December 2012, Michael focuses on the FEED project for the Q8 KPE Refinery Upgrade Project. Previous positions include Senior Mechanical Engineer roles at AMEC International and Hoang Long Group, where responsibilities encompassed various FEED projects and engineering support. Michael has also held leadership roles at Hoang Long JOC and Shaw Stone & Webster, overseeing significant projects such as the Dung Quat Grass Roots Oil Refinery in Vietnam. With a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Granville University and over three decades in the field, Michael Hargate has developed a comprehensive skill set in mechanical engineering, project delivery, and compliance with international standards.
