Mihiran Rupasinghe

Mihiran Rupasinghe has a diverse work experience in software development and management roles. Mihiran started their career as an Associate Software Engineer at Royal Palm International, where they designed and developed hotel management and itinerary planning systems. Later, they joined findmyfare as an Associate Software Engineer, where they designed and developed a customer relationship management system and worked on flight and hotel bookings. Mihiran then progressed to the role of Software Engineer at findmyfare, where they conducted research on online shopping web applications and designed the system and database structure for the RetailGenius project. After that, they took on the role of Senior Software Engineer at findmyfare, where they researched online chat applications and determined the best technologies to implement. Currently, they are working at Technium Services as a Manager - Software Development / Tech Lead, overseeing the development team, managing development tools and resources, and participating in hiring and recruiting.

Mihiran Rupasinghe earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Technology from Charles Sturt University between 2016 and 2018. Mihiran also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Technology from SLIIT, obtained between 2010 and 2013. Prior to their higher education, Mihiran attended Nalanda College Colombo from 1999 to 2008, focusing on Mathematics. Mihiran has also obtained certifications in Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers, Strategic Thinking, Decision-Making, and Anti-Money Laundering.
