Jorge Canal

Jorge Canal is a technology executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Jorge started their career as the CEO and Founder of Techno Global Inc., where they focused on delivering enterprise solutions for operations, healthcare, sales, marketing, and customer service. In 2006, Jorge became the Chief Information Officer at Wortix Healthcare, a technology initiative aimed at democratizing healthcare resources globally. Jorge later held the same position at 5 Miles Inc., where they built a scalable AWS Geo-communication Engine. Jorge also served as the Chief Information Officer at Diversity MBA Magazine, updating the organization's technology level with cloud and social technology. Before that, they were the VP of Technology at Moving Interactive, overseeing web application development. Prior to that, Jorge worked at Symantec and Immuno Laboratories as a Senior CRM Consultant, managing migrations and implementing CRM systems. Jorge also served as the Director of CRM at Data Warehouse Mortgage, implementing a CRM system for direct marketing in the mortgage industry. Earlier in their career, Jorge worked as a Senior CRM Consultant at One Inc./Baysys Consulting, specializing in Pivotal CRM implementations.

Jorge Canal has a diverse educational background spanning multiple fields. Jorge started their academic journey in 1979 at the Air Force, where they studied Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management as a Logistics Specialist. After completing this program in 1982, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, graduating in 1986. Following this, Jorge enrolled in Florida Atlantic University, where they studied International Business and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992. Additionally, in January 2015, they acquired a certification in Salesforce.com Train The Trainer from Salesforce.
