Michael Somers

Michael Somers has an extensive work experience in the business and technology industry. Michael has held various positions in different companies since 2011. In 2011, they started as Assistant to the Director at the George R. and Martha Means Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Illinois State University, and later became Assistant to the Managing Director at the Center for Emerging Entrepreneurs. In 2012, they were appointed as CEO of internrocket, and in 2013 they became Co-owner, Board Member of Maxlider Brothers Customs. In 2014, they were appointed as CEO of Bloomington Normal Angel Investor Network, and in 2015 they became CEO of Slingshot CoWork. In 2018, they became Co-owner, Board Member, and COO of Technocentra, and in 2022 they were appointed as COO of Beetexting. Throughout their career, they have been involved in solving complex technology problems for growing companies, providing strategic solutions through web design and development, eCommerce, digital marketing, custom software development, and fully managed IT.

Michael Somers attended Lindenwood University in 2007, where they studied Business Administration. Michael then attended Illinois State University from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a degree from the College of Business in Entrepreneurship, Small Business Management, and Economics.
