Michele Battelli

Michele Battelli has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michele is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Technogym since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Board Advisor at Growth Kitchen from January 2022 to March 2023. Before that, they held the position of Chief Product Officer at Sensat from February 2020 to March 2023. Michele also served as an Associate Partner and the Global Head of Product and Engineering at McKinsey & Company from 2018 to January 2020. Michele was the Chief Product Officer at Moneyfarm from 2015 to 2017. Earlier in their career, Michele held roles at Google, including Sr. Technical Program Manager and Software Engineer. Michele also co-founded the Google Adventure Team. Michele was also involved with IdeaPlane as a Board Advisor and Thotpot, Inc. as a Co-founder and CTO.

Michele Battelli earned a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University, which they completed from 2003 to 2007. Michele also conducted post-graduate research in Computer Science at Sapienza Università di Roma in 2003. Prior to that, they received a M.S. and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Ferrara between 1997 and 2002.

In terms of additional certifications, Michele obtained a Certificate of Management Excellence (CME) from Harvard Business School, which they are expected to complete in 2024. Michele also completed a program in Managing Innovation from Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2023. In 2022, they completed a program in Strategic Agility from the same institution. Additionally, they obtained a Product Management Program certification from UC Berkeley in 2015 and an Advanced Project Management Program certification from Stanford University in 2010.
