Zhen Wang

Zhen Wang is an accomplished finance and tax professional with extensive experience in the fintech and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as a Co-Founder at a stealth startup in fintech since April 2024, Zhen has also held the position of Entrepreneur-in-Residence and Tax Advisor at Idealab since July 2018. As the Founder of Technology Credit Inc, Zhen provides automated solutions for entrepreneurs to claim R&D tax credits. Additional roles include Co-Founder of MomsinLA, a nonprofit focused on immigrant communities, and participation in investment initiatives at Sunstone Management. Zhen's previous experience encompasses significant leadership positions such as CFO at ObEN, Inc. and various roles at EY and Goldman Sachs, where Zhen specialized in R&D tax credits and compliance for large organizations. Zhen holds both a Master’s in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
