Umer Farooq

Umer Farooq has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Umer is currently the Chief Technology Officer at MRS Technologies, where they oversee product and service delivery in various industries. Previously, Umer held the same position at Technology Spirits, where they developed a hardware solution for real-time intruder detection using machine learning. Additionally, Umer co-founded RoboMinors, an initiative focused on introducing robotics-based STEM education in Pakistan. Umer also worked as a professional photographer and as a teacher assistant at C.A.S.E, where they taught parallel processing and offered lab classes. Umer's experience also includes working as a senior design engineer at the Center for Advanced Research in Engineering (CARE), where they worked on Pakistan's first software-defined radio. Prior to that, they were the public relations manager for the annual robotics competition, National Robosprint. Umer's entrepreneurial journey began with RoboTech Engineering, where they served as a co-founder and embedded solution developer. Umer also worked as an instructor at EME College and founded the media team at C.A.S.E. Umer played a significant role in the growth and success of the CASE Robotics Group, where they served as the president and worked on various projects.
