John Swords possesses extensive experience in the technology and government sectors, currently serving as a Queensland AIIA Council Member since August 2020 while representing TechnologyOne. With a tenure at TechnologyOne beginning in 2012, John has held roles as Industry Sales Director and Solutions Manager for Government, focusing on developing go-to-market strategies to meet revenue targets. Prior to this, John was Director at We Play Pty Ltd from 2010 to 2019, overseeing business growth for an indoor family fun center. John’s earlier experience includes serving as Regional Manager for QLD & NT at Technology One and as a Systems Accountant at Queensland Treasury Corporation from 1988 to 2001. John graduated from Oxley State High School in 1986.
