Kate Shum

Kate Shum has extensive experience in product management and business improvement within the education sector. Currently serving as Product Success Director at TechnologyOne since October 2018, Kate has held various roles, including Product Owner for Student DXP and Consulting Programs Manager for Student Management. Prior to this, Kate worked at Swinburne University of Technology from February 2012 to October 2018 in several leadership positions, such as Deputy Director of Business Improvement and Manager of Business Support and Improvement. Additional experience includes positions at the University of Melbourne as an Application Analyst, Inlingua as an English Teacher, and RMIT University as a Senior Functional Analyst and Academic Administration Officer. Kate holds an MBA from Swinburne University of Technology and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from the same institution, along with a short course in Design Thinking for Innovation from RMIT Online.
