Jacob Mattison

Jacob Mattison has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jacob started their career in 1994 as an Assistant Director of Development and Public Relations at the Albert Schweitzer Institute. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as a Web Developer at Edwards & Angell and Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP. In 2001, they joined W R Cobb Company as a Software Developer, and from 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Web Developer at the University of the Arts.

In 2005, Jacob joined Johnson & Wales University as a Web Developer, where they created web applications using various programming languages and technologies. Jacob then moved to Yale University in 2008, where they became a Senior Developer. At Yale, they took on the role of lead developer for multiple custom web applications, led project teams, and mentored junior developers. Jacob'sskills included Java, Ruby on Rails, jQuery, SQL, XSLT, ASP.NET, C#, Oracle PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and XSLT.

Since 2012, Jacob has been working at Technolutions. Jacob initially joined as a Senior Software Engineer and later transitioned into the role of Senior Engineering Manager in February 2020. Jacob continues to contribute their expertise in software engineering and management to the company, playing a key role in its success.

Jacob Mattison completed their high school education at Wilbur Cross High School from 1984 to 1988, receiving a high school diploma. Following this, from 1986 to 1988, they attended the Educational Center for the Arts, where they focused on writing. In 1988, Jacob enrolled at Swarthmore College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art, completing their studies in 1994. After a break, they attended Brown University from 2000 to 2002, studying Computer Science, although they did not earn a specific degree during this time.
