Roberta Corti

Roberta Corti has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Roberta is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Technoprobe since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Gilardoni S.p.A. as an R&D Algorithms Developer from February 2020 to February 2022.

In 2016, they pursued a PHD in Materials Science and Nanotechnology at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca. During their PhD, they conducted research at the Biophysics and Biomedical Physics research group, focusing on the supervision of Prof. Francesco Mantegazza and Dott. Domenico Salerno. Their role as a PhD student lasted from November 2016 to March 2020.

Roberta also gained research experience abroad. In 2019, they worked as a PhD student at the Single-Molecule Biophysics of DNA-repair Nanomachines "Moreno-Herrero Lab" of UAM-CNB (Universidad Autonoma de Madrid - Spanish National Center of Biotechnology) in Madrid, Spain. Roberta was supervised by Dott. Fernando Moreno-Herrero and took part in two projects during their 7-month tenure from January to July 2019.

Additionally, they completed a one-month Visiting Student program at King's College London in 2015. Roberta joined Prof. Sergi Garcia-Manyes' laboratory and participated in the preparation of biological samples and additional measurements related to recombinant polyproteins expression and purification.

Roberta Corti's education history begins with their completion of a Diploma di maturità in Liceo Scientifico indirizzo Linguistico (Francese) from Liceo Scientifico G.B. Grassi in 2010. Roberta then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Fisica from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, which they completed between 2010 and 2014. Following this, they continued their education at the same university, obtaining a Laurea Magistrale LM in Fisica from 2014 to 2016. Roberta further pursued higher education and earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Nanotechnology from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca between the years 2016 and 2020.

Additionally, Roberta Corti also possesses several certifications. Roberta completed the Mathematics for Machine Learning Specialization from Coursera in December 2022. Roberta acquired various Coursera certifications throughout 2022, including Python Classes and Inheritance, Applied Plotting, Charting & Data Representation in Python, Crash Course on Interactive Data Visualization with Plotly, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Advanced Computer Vision with TensorFlow, Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow, and Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. Furthermore, they hold a First Certificate in English from Cambridge ESOL, which they obtained in May 2009.
