Roberto Luca has extensive work experience in the field of semiconductor engineering. Roberto currently holds the position of Design Team Manager at Technoprobe since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at STMicroelectronics as a Senior Product Test Engineer from April 2019 to September 2022. In this role, they led test engineer projects and developed test programs for STM32 microcontrollers using Advantest T2000 test equipment. Roberto also had a good knowledge of analog and digital IP testing and characterization methodologies.
Before joining STMicroelectronics, Roberto worked at Micron Technology from January 2010 to March 2019. Roberto held two positions during their tenure at Micron: Non Volatile Memory Product Engineer and Product Development Engineer. As a Product Engineer, they developed and debugged test programs for Teradyne Magnum II test equipment. Roberto provided technical support to the Device Validation Engineers team for NAND MLC and TLC products validation and was proficient in using lab measurement equipment. In their role as a Product Development Engineer, they developed test programs for Micron proprietary test equipment and worked on the electrical wafer sort of 45nm NOR MLC and NOR SPI SLC Flash Memories.
Before Micron, Roberto worked at Numonyx from April 2008 to April 2010 as a Product Development Engineer. Their responsibilities included developing test programs for Advantest LCS system platform and performing wafer level reliability testing on 45nm NOR Flash Memories.
Roberto's career in semiconductor engineering started at STMicroelectronics in 1997. Roberto held the positions of Product Development Engineer from January 2000 to March 2008 and Maintenance Technician from March 1997 to December 1999.
Prior to their work in the semiconductor industry, Roberto worked at SPEE S.R.L. as a Customer Service Specialist, where they provided customer service for advanced security systems of banks. Roberto also worked as a Repair Technician at Centro Gamma Data Service.
Roberto Luca's education history begins in 1990 when they enrolled at the Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale- "G. Ferraris" in Acireale. Roberto pursued a diploma in Maturita' from 1990 to 1995, specializing in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications as their field of study. Following this, from 1995 to 1996, Roberto attended the Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale Galileo Ferraris in Acireale, where they focused on Automation Engineer Technology/Technician. During this time, they gained expertise in process control systems in the civil and agricultural applications.
