Fran Edmunds

Fran Edmunds is a seasoned leader in strategy, policy, and sustainability, with a focus on the agri-food sector. They served as Head of Policy within the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, where they designed a transformation strategy to decarbonize the UK's food and farming sector. Fran has also held consultant roles with organizations like TechnoServe and Community Markets for Conservation, supporting sustainable business practices in East Africa and advising on commercial strategies. They earned a Master of Arts in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Cambridge and a Master's degree in Food Policy, also from Cambridge, along with a distinction in Business Sustainability Management from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Currently, Fran leads the Climate, Nature and Resources unit at 3Keel, advising corporate clients on sustainability strategies and net zero transitions.
