Fred Mbayi possesses extensive experience in sourcing and supply chain management, with a strong focus on agricultural products. At TruTrade Africa, Fred developed value chains for various crops in Kitui County. Currently, as a Sourcing Specialist Consultant at TechnoServe, Fred has designed a commercially viable avocado sourcing model, while also fostering relationships with farmer cooperatives. Fred further advanced expertise as a Senior Commercial Specialist at ThriveAgric, where comprehensive value chains were implemented for multiple crops. Previous roles include Collection Center Area Manager at Twiga Foods and Sourcing Manager at SokoFresh™, highlighting a consistent commitment to optimizing supplier networks and agricultural practices. Fred holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management. Additionally, Fred serves on the Management Board and as Parents Association Chairperson at Makueni Boys High School.
