Vikas Redekar

Vikas Redekar has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Vikas is currently working as a Senior Design Engineer / Project Coordinator at Brookville Equipment Corporation since March 2022. Prior to this, Vikas served as a Senior Design Engineer / Project Coordinator at Technosoft Engineering Projects Limited from January 2017. In this role, they were responsible for designing various sheetmetal components and progressive tools, utilizing software such as Solid Works, NX10, Progressive Die wizard, and Logopress3. Vikas also performed engineering calculations and generated detailed machining drawings with GD&T.

Before joining Technosoft Engineering Projects Limited, Vikas worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Schlechtendahl & Söhne GmbH & Co. from March 2018 to March 2019. Vikas also worked as a Design Engineer at Anandji Haridas & Co. (P) Ltd. from June 2014 to January 2017, where they gained experience in design engineering. Prior to that, they served as a Project Trainee at Mazagon Dock Ltd from June 2013 to June 2014 and at Larsen & Toubro from June 2012 to July 2013.

Vikas Redekar pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from G.V Acharya Institute of Engineering and Technology, completing it from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Polytechnic in Mumbai, where they obtained a Diploma in Automobile Engineering from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Vikas also completed a certified program in Design and Manufacturing of Press Tools from IDEMI.

Furthermore, Vikas has obtained various certifications. Vikas is proficient in the German language at Level A1, which they obtained in 2022 from the Professional Foreign Language Centre in India. In 2021, they completed the course "Product Design and Development" from NPTEL at IIT Roorkee. Additionally, they received certifications in Mechanical Design from Dassault Systèmes and Design and Manufacturing of Press Tools from IDEMI Mumbai in 2019. Vikas also has knowledge in AutoCAD and Simence Unigraphics NX, though the details of their certification for these programs were not provided.
