Scott Capps

Scott Capps is an atmospheric scientist currently serving as Principal Scientist at Technosylva. They co-founded Atmospheric Data Solutions, where they designed and implemented operational weather forecast products, incorporating machine learning techniques for utilities. Prior to this, Scott held positions as a postdoctoral scholar and assistant researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles, focusing on renewable energy assessments using advanced atmospheric models. They also co-founded CLEAN Education to promote climate change awareness in collaboration with UC Irvine's Earth System Science department. Scott earned a PhD in Atmospheric Science from UC Irvine, reflecting a strong academic background in the field.
