James P. Rhone

SVP & MD, NCRO at TechSource, Inc.

In 2013, Mr. James Rhone was named a Vice President of TechSource, Inc. Mr. Rhone’s addition to the TechSource Senior Management Team was a critical component in the company’s goal of expanding its technical presence throughout the Washington, D.C. region. In addition to this new role, Mr. Rhone serves as Deputy Director, Washington Operations and supports several contracts as Senior Program Manager—E-TESA Technical, Engineering, and Programmatic Support Services; Argonne National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Office of Nuclear Energy contracts.

Prior to joining TechSource, Mr. Rhone was a Vice President at Parallax Corporation where he oversaw the company’s technical presence at DOE/ NNSA Headquarters; NASA Goddard Space Flight Center; Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health, and; U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Information and Technology.

Mr. Rhone has over 42 years of technical and managerial experience in the DOE/NNSA enterprise and the commercial nuclear power industry. He specializes in project and contract management emergency management (plans, procedures, and scenarios), nuclear chemistry, training, and environmental radiological surveillance. For commercial nuclear power plants, he provided U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission licensing support for chemistry- and health physics-related issues and developed training materials and instruction in the disciplines of chemistry, emergency management, environmental surveillance, and aquatic biology.

Mr. Rhone has published numerous scientific studies and technical papers concerning aquatic biology, paleontology, organic chemistry, and environmental radiological surveillance.

Mr. Rhone grew up in Oklahoma City, OK; Tuskegee, AL; Colorado Springs, CO, and; finally settled down in Omaha, NE, where he started his science career and received his B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska.
