David Willbrand

David Willbrand serves as the Chief Legal Officer at Pacaso since April 2021 and has also taken on the role of Entrepreneur in Residence with Techstars and Miami University. In academia, David has been a Professor of Law at the University of Michigan Law School and previously held similar positions at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and the University of Cincinnati College of Law. An accomplished author, David has written "Seed Deals: How to Grow from Startup to Venture Capital." David's previous legal experience includes a partnership at Thompson Hine LLP for 17 years, as well as membership in the independent community TechGC for General Counsels from August 2021 to August 2023. David earned a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
