Katie Smith

Katie Smith currently serves as the Head of Startup Community and VP of Founder Catalyst at Techstars since February 2022. Previously, Smith held various roles at Compass from July 2017 to February 2022, including Director of People Ops and Compliance, Sr. Manager of M&A Integration, and Sr. Regional Manager of Agent Success. Prior experience includes managing customer experience at DoubleDutch and overseeing multiple implementation teams at Staff Management | SMX, where Smith excelled in business development and staff mentoring. An educational background includes a Master’s in Global Affairs and Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor's in Spanish, Communications, and Basque Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno.
