Laura Atkinson

Laura Atkinson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience across various sectors, currently serving as a Venture Scout at LvlUp Ventures since September 2024, where the focus is on identifying suitable startups for investment. As part of the Techstars Global Mentor Network since July 2023, Laura supports entrepreneurs through mentorship in accelerator programs. Laura leads the Ohio Chapter of the SoGal Foundation/Ventures, promoting diversity in entrepreneurship and venture capital. With a background as a Partner at Indy Health Solutions LLC since August 2016, Laura has played a pivotal role in corporate governance and operations for a regional Medicare plan. Previous positions include Chief Development Officer at United We Care and Chief Executive Officer for Total Wellness Concepts LLC, along with board memberships in various organizations such as Pharmacists United For Truth and Transparency and the American Diabetes Association. Laura holds multiple degrees from The Ohio State University, including a PhD in Health Promotion and Exercise Physiology, a Master's in Health Management, and a Bachelor's in Political Science.
