Michael Morton

Michael Morton is an award-winning Industrial Designer and experience design architect with extensive expertise in product and experience design management. Currently serving as a HardTech Startup Mentor, Advisor, and Fractional CTO/COO/CDO at Morton Consulting Group since February 2015, Michael demonstrates a strong passion for user-centric design and cross-functional solution synthesis. In addition, Michael has mentored at Capital Factory, Techstars, and MassChallenge, contributing to the growth of numerous startups. Advisory roles include positions at HardTech Basecamp and Xebec, along with previous advisory involvement at Popspots and Devali. Previously, Michael worked at Dell as an Industrial Design Senior Principal, where responsibilities included leading the design of enterprise storage products and overseeing the design of business desktop computers and workstations, generating significant revenue. Michael holds a BS in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati and has an educational background from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Singapore American School.
