Peter Blake

Peter Blake is a co-founder and partner at Sapphire & Steel since May 2018, focusing on connecting entrepreneurs, corporate partners, investors, and research institutes to stimulate industry innovation. Currently serving as the Chief Strategy and Investment Officer at Innovation Nursery and a Non-Executive Director at SAGES, Peter also contributes as a partner for the Shott Scaleup Accelerator at the Royal Academy of Engineering. In mentoring roles, Peter supports multiple organizations including the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, Conception X, Techstars, and Undaunted, providing guidance to emerging innovators in various sectors such as climate technology and engineering. Peter's expertise extends to advising the Borysiewicz Fellowship at the University of Cambridge, enhancing the development of entrepreneurial leaders. Peter holds a BA Hons degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Warwick.
