Rishad Usmani

Rishad Usmani, MD, is a multifaceted healthcare professional and entrepreneur with a strong background in medicine and technology. Currently, Rishad serves as the Founder of HealthTech Investors and Learning with Rishad, while also holding advisory and strategic roles with Redesign Health and VendorBay. Additional ventures include investments in Abstractive Health and Inherent Biosciences, Inc., alongside serving as an attending physician at Cressant Care Long Term Care. Rishad has contributed to the startup ecosystem as a mentor at Techstars and an angel investor in SOAP Health and Auctify, Inc. Rishad’s educational background encompasses a Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint George's University, a Family Medicine Residency at The University of British Columbia, and specialized training in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare from Stanford University.
