Rosa Cheng

Rosa Cheng is an accomplished professional in the technology and startup ecosystem, currently serving as the Director of Partnerships for East Asia and Executive Director for Taipei Ecosystem Development at Techstars since April 2020. Rosa Cheng has successfully launched the Advisory Board for the Taiwan Startup Community in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology and Taiwan Tech Arena, facilitating over 200 connections and 500 hours of mentorship interactions. As Ecosystem Development Program Director, Rosa Cheng orchestrated Taiwan's inaugural Global Startup Weekend, which garnered 18,681 participants, leading to the top award for the nation's best team. Additional experience includes roles as a consultant at Taiwania Capital and co-founder of Jumpstart Global, alongside previous positions in renewable energy and semiconductor sectors at DKSH and as a research associate at Morgan Stanley. Education includes a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from National Taiwan University, as well as scholarly work at UC Berkeley's Berkeley Wireless Research Center.
