Rustin Banks

Rustin Banks is an experienced professional in product management and technology, currently serving as a Product Manager at Google Labs, focusing on AI coding since August 2020. With a strong entrepreneurial background, Rustin co-founded and held the CEO and CPO roles at TapInfluence, raising $22 million for the influencer marketing software platform from November 2008 to January 2017. Rustin also founded and directed SoaringSafe, an impactful parental control app, and the Human Improvement Project, which developed a leading parenting app on Android. Previous roles include Chief Revenue Officer at DNSFilter, where Rustin established a revenue engine for an AI-based security firm, and engineering positions at Ball Aerospace and Space Dynamics Laboratory. Rustin holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University and has been a mentor at Techstars since January 2017.
