Sam Grice is the founder and CEO of Octopus Legacy, established in 2018 after a personal tragedy motivated the mission to assist families dealing with loss. Additionally, Sam serves as a mentor at Techstars since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an equity analyst at Forsyth Barr, co-founder and non-executive director at CleanPaleo, brand manager at Reckitt Benckiser, and an internship at IBM. Sam holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Geology from The University of Auckland, as well as a CFA designation.
