Val J.

Val J. serves as Co-Director at Startup Grind, the largest global startup community, and has extensive experience in venture capital as a Partner at Innov8 Global Ventures. Val is also a Community Leader at Techstars Startup Weekend, a Mentor at the Alchemist Accelerator, and an Advisor at Berkeley SkyDeck. Additionally, Val mentors at Vertical, works as a Corporate Trainer for Suomen Projekti-Instituutti Oy, directs the Venture Capital Academy at Kauffman Fellows, and lectures on entrepreneurship at both Moscow State University and Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO. Val holds a Master's degree from Stanford University and has studied at the University of Cambridge, Pomona College, and Swarthmore College.
