Mark Hogarth

Mark Hogarth is a seasoned venture capital professional and director with extensive experience in investment management and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Partner at Techstart Ventures LLP since January 2019, Mark focuses on supporting ambitious founding teams in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Additionally, Mark holds the position of Partner VC at Focal, contributing to Europe's leading open access demo day. With a strong background in various non-executive director roles across multiple companies, including Exterity and Onzo Ltd., Mark has also been an Investment Director at Sigma Capital Group plc. Mark's educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Manufacturing Sciences and Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, along with certificates in Investment Management and Corporate Finance from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
